Vanishing cultures project

The Vanishing Cultures Project travels to distant communities, recording rituals, songs, and stories to preserve fragile ways of life before they fade. Our project attempts to document cultures, communities, and ways of life that are changing, disappearing, or rarely understood before they are lost to time. By filming, interviewing, listening, and preserving real human stories, we aim to create a lasting record that helps future generations better understand the depth, diversity, and psychology of human life.

This matters because once these worlds disappear, much of their wisdom, struggle, identity, and lived experience can disappear with them. Donations and support help make it possible to travel, record, produce, and preserve these stories with care, so this work can continue and reach more people.
