There are cultures in this world that are not slowly fading over generations.

They are disappearing right now.

Not because they lack value…

But because the conditions that allowed them to exist no longer do.

And when they go, they don’t just take a tradition with them—

they take a way of seeing the world.

Right now, there are small, fragile cultural systems on the edge:

we don’t just lose the skill.

And no amount of AI, books, or reconstruction can fully bring it back.

Because culture is not just information.

It is relationship, repetition, and lived experience over time.

Not when it’s “almost gone.”

Not when it becomes nostalgic.

Not when it’s cleaned up for tourism.

Now—while it’s still real.

While it’s still imperfect.

While the last true voices can still speak for themselves.

To sit with people,

to listen carefully,

and to preserve what cannot be recreated once it’s gone.

Not to romanticize.

Not to exploit.

But to witness, document, and respect.
